Job summary

Speedy Hire is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to cover Merseyside & North Wales. You will develop and grow a portfolio of strategic customer accounts, identify opportunities to introduce new products and services, and help customers deliver projects safely, efficiently and on time.

You will collaborate with internal teams to maximise opportunities, maintain high service levels, and promote Speedy’s ESG initiatives while building long-term partnerships and driving revenue

Qualifications

• Previous experience in business development, account management or strategic sales.
• Strong commercial awareness with excellent financial understanding.
• Proven experience of strategic account planning and business growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• The ability to work independently whilst collaborating with wider teams.
• Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• A full UK driving licence.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and growing a portfolio of key customer accounts while identifying opportunities to introduce new products and services across the Speedy business.

You'll work closely with internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience, ensuring every opportunity is maximised and every customer receives the highest level of service.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is customer-focused, commercially aware and passionate about building lasting business relationships.

You’ll Ideally Have

• Previous experience in business development, account management or strategic sales.
• Strong commercial awareness with excellent financial understanding.
• Proven experience of strategic account planning and business growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• A full UK driving licence.

Experience within the hire, construction, industrial or related sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.
