Business Development Manager - Insurance

Role Overview: As a Business Development Manager at AIG, you will help reimagine how we assist customers in managing risk. This position offers an opportunity to grow your skills and be a valued member of our team.

Team and Responsibilities: Our Client and Broker Engagement (CBE) team manages major client relationships across all product lines and drives new business activity. The team provides a personalized experience to major clients and broker partners, ensuring consistency and flexibility to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contacts at Global, International & Focus brokers.
  • Execute and maximize value and revenue from key agreements and contracts.
  • Develop innovative approaches to business development, promoting sales growth through new channels and products.
  • Foster a sales-focused, customer/broker-centric mentality within AIG.

Qualifications:

  • ACII qualification preferred.
  • Knowledge of UK commercial insurance distribution.
  • Understanding of different distribution methods.
  • Awareness of legal and compliance issues.
