Job description

Business Development Manager (remote in UK)

We’re seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with a strong SaaS background, eager to build their sales pipeline and network in the business tech space.

You’ll play a key role in expanding our UK presence, developing long-term client relationships, and driving business growth, while collaborating with our Onboarding, Customer Success, and Product teams to deliver exceptional experiences and build our reputation as a trusted partner.

Daily activities:

  1. Lead Sales: Drive revenue by building and managing your own sales pipeline, consistently exceeding targets.
  2. Market Expansion: Identify new opportunities to grow market share across the UK.
  3. Relationship Building: Cultivate long-lasting client relationships through networking and trust-building.
  4. Brand Promotion: Work with marketing to increase brand visibility and promote our Profitroom’s product portfolio across the UK.
  5. Industry Networking: Attend trade shows, conferences, and forums to expand your network.
  6. Sales Documentation: Manage contracts, sales records, reports, and invoices with legal compliance.
  7. Mentorship: Support the development of entry-level colleagues into our future Business Development Managers.
Requirements
  1. Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated track record of success in B2B or B2E sales, specifically within the hospitality sector, focusing on SaaS or tech solutions.
  2. Hunter Mentality: Motivated to build and manage your own sales pipeline.
  3. Networking Skills: Strong ability to build relationships with decision-makers.
  4. Results-Oriented: Focused on achieving and exceeding targets.
  5. Communication: Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  6. Team Player: Passion for mentoring and helping others grow.
  7. Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of sales processes and market dynamics.
  8. Hospitality Tech SaaS Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the SaaS landscape and hospitality technology, with a proven ability to effectively sell solutions tailored to the industry.

Recruitment process:

  1. Intro call with the Recruiter (up to 45 minutes).
  2. Role fit interview with Hiring Manager, Senior BDM and the Recruiter (60 minutes).
  3. Home assignment - short demo recording.
  4. Role play interview + demo discussion with HM and CCO (60 minutes).
