Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager to focus on engaging with levypaying employers promoting highvalue apprenticeship standards. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the apprenticeship sector especially regarding levy utilisation and will excel at building strong profitable relationships with large organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify develop and maintain relationships with large levypaying employers to promote and sell highvalue apprenticeship standards.
Achieve and exceed ambitious sales targets of 20 apprenticeship starts per month.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities informing tailored sales approaches.
Act as an account manager for clients providing exceptional service to ensure repeat business and sustainable partnerships.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create bespoke promotional materials and campaigns.
Represent the organisation at networking events conferences and client meetings to increase visibility and influence.
Ensure all engagements align with current apprenticeship funding models and compliance requirements.
Provide detailed sales reports forecasts and pipeline data to senior management.
Essential Criteria:
Proven track record in business development within the adult education or apprenticeship sector.
Indepth understanding of levypaying employers and apprenticeship funding.
Experience negotiating contracts with large organisations.
Strong networking communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work autonomously meet targets and thrive in a resultsdriven environment.
Desirable Criteria:
Professional qualification in sales marketing or business.
Experience in developing persuasive bids and tenders for largescale contracts.
