About the role:

We seek a London-based sales professional, ambitious and performance-driven, to expand our client portfolio in Spain within the FMCG sectors. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a high-performing salesperson experienced in consultative, solution-based selling to work with leading FMCG brands daily, leveraging Mintel’s market intelligence to uncover growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and qualifying new inbound sales opportunities and developing outreach strategies to generate pipeline and target new clients in FMCG.
  • Positioning Mintel’s value through demos, emails, and calls, acting as a trusted advisor to help clients meet their market intelligence needs.
  • Managing prospects through the entire sales process, from evaluation to closing, and coordinating handovers to account management post-sale.

Ideal candidate characteristics:

  • Excellent at initiating contacts and generating meetings from cold outreach, utilizing multi-channel prospecting platforms.
  • Highly self-motivated, a strong presenter and communicator, skilled in negotiation and creating urgency with senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional listener, empathetic, enthusiastic, positive, and emotionally intelligent.
  • Committed to continuous learning, adaptable to new technologies and sales techniques, and detail-oriented with strong reporting skills.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2-3+ years of proven new business sales experience at the executive level.
  • Track record of achieving sales goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills.
  • Professional, consultative selling style with negotiation skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
