Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Business Development Manager (Construction) in Stirling. The role offers autonomy to build a regional portfolio, travelling to client sites three to four days a week and managing relationships with customers, architects and suppliers.

The successful candidate will have a construction background and be able to drive new business while maintaining existing accounts, with a salary in the £60k–£70k range plus a car and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel to client sites across Central Belt of Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites three to four days per week and work from the office on the remaining days.

• Develop new business opportunities while maintaining existing relationships to generate projects.
• Maintain regular contact with customers to secure ongoing work.

Are you a Business Development Manager or similar with experience working within the construction industry looking to join a well-established business, offering a role with complete autonomy, allowing you to make your mark and build your portfolio within the industry?

In this role the suitable candidate will be expected to travel to client sites three to four days, meeting with customers, architects and suppliers to increase the outreach of the business. You will need to work for the generation of new business as well as maintain relationships with existing clients to bring in projects.

Founded over 30 years ago, this construction business specialises in the design and delivery of a range of multi million pound residential and commercial new builds and refurbishments.

This role would suit a Business Development Manager or similar with experience working within the construction industry looking to join an established growing business.

The Role:

• Travel to client sites three - four days and work from the office on remaining days
• Primarily travel across the Central Belt of Scotland
• Work with clients, architects and suppliers to maintain, and grow, the outreach of the company
• Work for the development of new business and maintain existing relationships to generate new projects
• Monday to Friday, 8am - 5:30pm with 3:30pm finish on Friday
