The Highfield Company is seeking a Business Development Manager/Assistant BDM in Ringwood to drive growth by identifying opportunities and building strong client relationships within the construction sector.

Open to candidates with varied backgrounds; you will grow a pipeline, work with the bid team on tenders, and translate opportunities into contracts, with room to progress in a fast‑growing, award‑winning business.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, rail, steel, metalwork, cladding or facades is desirable.
• Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships and engaging with clients.
• Previous business development or sales experience is beneficial, but assistant-level candidates with the right industry knowledge will be considered.
• Proactive, commercially minded approach with the drive to identify and develop opportunities.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with potential clients.
