- Represent the organisation at conferences and client forums, promoting its products and solutions and building its brand in the market.
- Prepare and present reports on business development activity, performance metrics and market insights, tracking industry trends, competitor activity and market data to inform data-driven decisions.
- Apply excellent conduct risk management and comply with all relevant regulatory requirements to ensure fair treatment of clients.
What We're Looking For
- Proven client-facing sales experience with financial institutions, with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
- A clear understanding of foreign exchange, the markets and how to sell FX.
- A good grasp of the payments landscape, including leading financial institutions, payment types and integration capabilities.
- The ability to source leads, spot opportunities and create, build and manage a sales pipeline.
- Confidence building relationships from cold, attending events and networking to build the brand and capture market share.
- Drive to succeed individually, with the motivation to work as part of a global sales team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high competency in Excel and PowerPoint, and knowledge of CRM practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, able to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively to clients and internal teams.
Useful Additional Experience
- Experience of derivatives.
- Understanding of money markets and interest-bearing products, including forwards, swaps, banking-as-a-service and safeguard accounts, and the associated regulatory requirements.
- A market-focused network and a deep understanding of the sector's trends, challenges and opportunities.
