Business Development Manager – 180° Contract/Perm Recruitment

Employment Type: Contract / Commission-Based Only

Location: Fully Remote (UK / EMEA / USA / Global)

About the Role:

We are seeking highly driven and experienced Business Development Managers to lead client acquisition and Contractor/Permanent engagement within the IT Services, Telecom, and Emerging Technology sectors. This is a 180° sales-focused role, ideal for proactive individuals who can develop and grow a Contractor/Permanent base across multiple skill verticals while securing new client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Logo Acquisition – Identify, engage, and secure new clients within the IT Services, Telecom, and Emerging Tech landscapes.
  • Contractor/Permanent Base Development – Build and maintain a strong network of Contractor/Permanent clients across relevant verticals.
  • Market Strategy & Expansion – Conduct market research and implement business development strategies to penetrate key markets.
  • Client Relationship Management – Serve as the primary contact for new clients, ensuring a seamless onboarding process and long-term engagement.
  • Commercial Negotiations – Structure competitive contract terms to maximize revenue and client retention.
  • Collaboration & Growth – Work closely with internal teams to align recruitment strategies with overall business objectives.

Key Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in contractor/permanent recruitment business development, with a proven track record of securing new clients.
  • Strong understanding of IT Services, Telecom, and Emerging Technology markets.
  • Experience in developing and managing a Contractor/Permanent base across multiple skill verticals.
  • Self-starter mentality – able to work independently and drive results without constant supervision.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, commission-driven environment.
