Job summary

Oscar Associates Ltd is recruiting a Business Development Manager for Manchester and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on BD role focused on building senior relationships, opening doors and winning high-value, mid-market opportunities.

You'll develop and grow relationships with Accountants, Lawyers, Lenders and professional introducers, identify opportunities, and spend time out in the market prospecting and networking.

We're partnering with a leading professional services business to recruit an ambitious, commercially driven Business Development Manager to grow relationships and win new business across Sheffield and the surrounding region.

The Role

£55,000-£65,000 | 2-3 days onsite | Remaining days out prospecting

This is a hands-on BD role focused on building senior relationships, opening doors and winning high-value, mid-market opportunities.

You’ll:

• Develop and grow relationships with Accountants, Lawyers, Lenders and professional introducers
• Build relationships with Partners, Directors and senior decision-makers
• Identify and convert new business opportunities
• Spend time out in the market prospecting, networking and developing new connections
• Work closely with senior Directors and technical specialists to win complex opportunities
• Own your pipeline and contribute to wider growth strategy

What We're Looking For

• Proven BD experience within professional services, finance, restructuring, insolvency, accountancy or law
• Strong track record of generating new business
• Confident operating at Partner and Director level
• Commercially astute, proactive and relationship-focused
• Ideally, an established professional services network
• Strong communication and influencing skills

• £55,000-£65,000 salary
