Role Overview
JD UK's Development Division focuses on resource integration and ecosystem development in commercial real estate, industrial parks, logistics warehousing, and related sectors. The Leasing Manager will be responsible for establishing partnerships with local and international enterprises in the UK, attracting high-quality businesses to JD’s industrial projects (e.g., smart parks, logistics hubs, retail complexes, etc.), and driving JD’s industrial ecosystem expansion in UK through strategic collaborations and resource alignment.

Job Description
1. Develop targeted business development strategies for commercial real estate, industrial parks, warehousing, and logistics sectors, identifying potential clients (e.g., brand retailers, manufacturers, third-party service providers, etc.). Lead end-to-end negotiations, including needs assessment, solution design, contract finalization, and execution.
2. Build partnerships with local governments, industry associations, and real estate developers to facilitate industrial resource coordination (e.g., land cooperation, joint development). Design customized collaboration models (e.g., leasing, joint ventures, equity investments) to meet diverse client needs.
3. Research UK real estate and industrial chain trends, analyze competitor activities (e.g., industrial strategies of localized platforms like SEA, Grab, etc.), and optimize business development approaches. Regularly produce industry reports to support HQ’s UK market expansion planning.
4. Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to assist clients with onboarding processes (e.g., compliance, local registration). Provide resource-matching services (e.g., supply chain financing, cross-border logistics solutions) to enhance client retention.
5. Set and achieve business development KPIs (e.g., occupancy rates, rental income, ecosystem partner growth). Monitor merchant performance through data analytics and revitalize underperforming assets.
Qualifications
1. 3+ years of industrial business development experience in the UK, with a proven track record in commercial real estate/industrial parks/logistics real estate projects. Familiarity with UK land policies, foreign investment regulations, and business cooperation models.
2. Industrial chain mindset—ability to quickly grasp site selection and expansion needs in manufacturing, retail, and related sectors. Strong resource integration skills; preference for candidates with existing government, developer, or corporate client networks.
3. Fluent in English (written and spoken); Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
4. Adaptability to frequent travel and emerging market challenges. Results-driven, with experience leading projects in cross-cultural teams.
