Job description

Business Development Manager role in a London patent attorney firm. Hybrid working of 3 days in the office a week. Salary up to £65,000.

A BD Manager vacancy has arisen in a well‑known patent attorneys. This role will sit in the well‑knit marketing and BD team where you will be integral in helping them grow their IP and patent services across the UK, as well as looking at international growth for Europe, the USA and Japan.

Key responsibilities
  • Developing BD plans aligned with the firm’s sector strategies; Supporting on global growth plans and initiatives; Working with the marketing team on campaigns to attract new clients; Managing tailored pitches and proposals; Championing the use of the CRM (InterAction+) for a data driven approach to BD; Supporting Partners on developing key client plans; Developing events and facilitating speaking opportunities; Coordinating directory and award submissions.

The role would suit an experienced BD Manager looking for a new challenge or a credible Senior Executive who’s ready for a step up. You will have experience in legal, IP or a comparable consultancy environment. Ideally you will have experience of CRM and data reporting, as well as excellent written skills.
