To succeed in this role, you should be self-motivated and passionate about being a market-leading business partner, with previous optical knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Develop sales in the Regional Key Accounts
  • Ensure the Area Sales force meets revenue and profitability targets
  • Grow existing customer base and distribution channels, especially in underperforming areas
  • Report on performance to enable corrective actions
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop promotional campaigns
  • Support the Key Accounts team in retail initiatives
  • Increase product distribution with existing and new customers
  • Work with Supply Chain to improve customer service
  • Enhance IT utilization within the sales team for better communication and control
  • Continuously improve customer service to lead the market
Candidate Requirements
  • Further Education qualification in an Optical-related subject or extensive sales experience
  • Degree in a business-related subject or similar
  • Professional qualification in optics or membership of a professional body
Qualifications

Essential

  • 5-10 years' experience in sales, including senior management
  • Proven success in growth and target achievement
  • Experience in leading and motivating sales teams
  • Solid B2B sales background

Preferable

  • Experience selling to retail outlets
  • Ambitious, adaptable, and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of dispensing, Hoya lenses, and CRM systems like Salesforce
