Job summary

Echelon Engineers is recruiting for a growing engineering and manufacturing client to fill a Business Development Manager role. The position focuses on winning new business in the Industrial Water Treatment platform across the UK and overseas.

Responsibilities include generating leads, researching markets, building a UK/international sales network and delivering plans and forecasts for senior management. Travel within the UK and abroad is required.

Qualifications

• Proven record of delivering business growth in Industrial Water Treatment.
• Engineering or manufacturing background.
• Experienced with market research tools.
• Confident presenting to small and large audiences.
• Diploma level or higher in Business, Engineering or Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of filtration, softening, RO or demineralisation is a plus.

The Role

About You

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship)
• Full UK driving licence
• Willing to travel in the UK and overseas, sometimes frequently
• Commutable to Derby (office-based when not travelling)
