Due to company growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a fast-growing energy and data organization.
The role is fully remote, with attendance at Head Office in Surrey approximately once a month. The geographical focus is national within the UK, selling EV charge points, solar, and decarbonisation technologies to businesses, developing partnerships.
The role involves a 50/50 split between new sales and approaching existing customers from a warm database. You should be a sales professional with proven business development experience, confident, friendly, and relationship-oriented. You will target and attend at least one face-to-face customer meeting per week and conduct about four Teams meetings weekly.
The emphasis is on quality meetings with customers rather than the number of calls made. You will generate leads, identify, engage, and secure new business, then pass clients to a dedicated Account Manager for a smooth handover.
You will work towards KPIs, report results, and provide market research insights. While accountable for your work, teamwork, sharing ideas, knowledge, and experience are strongly encouraged.
