Job summary

A leading company is seeking a Business Development & IR Manager for the Middle East region, requiring fluency in Arabic and strong client relationship management skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors, manage communications, and work closely with the Marketing team on lead generation projects. Preference will be given to individuals with solid CRM tool experience and those comfortable traveling to the Middle East.

Job Description:

The Sales & Investor Relations Manager is an experienced client relationship management professional who will build a solid network of relationships with key fund managers & institutional investors in the Middle East Region.

The role requires:

  • Persuasive communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to cross-sell
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Very good phone manners and sales skills; presentation and public speaking skills are a plus
  • Draft and collect feedback (well-written notes) from investor calls and meetings to help Program Directors prepare agendas
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to discern priorities
  • Understanding of the territory and ability to grow within the market
  • Self-starter and resilient attitude
  • Team player
  • Good understanding of the investment management industry, investor client base, and curiosity to learn more
  • Comfortable with traveling abroad
  • Interest in staying abreast of global news and a mature grasp of regional social, political, and economic trends and their impact on the investment industry
  • Understanding of audience development planning
  • Ability to manage event project timelines and liaise with the IR team to keep tasks on track
  • Ability to grow new business targets and strengthen existing relationships
  • Regular communication with investors via face-to-face meetings, calls, and emails
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, Pardot, Boomset, and other CRM tools related to event planning
  • Ability to collaborate with the Marketing team on lead generation projects and communicate audience targets
  • Coordinate with Program Directors, Client Coordinators, and Logistics Managers for event management
  • Source content from investors for the Allocator Intel Network
  • Willingness to travel to the Middle East region
