Job summary

Technical Futures Ltd is seeking a seasoned Business Development for Product Innovation professional to bridge R&D of physical products with commercial viability. You will join a technical consultancy driving disruptive, sustainable innovation and work to secure new customers through marketing, BD and sales activities.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technology concepts into market-ready strategies, attend conferences and lead innovation projects, while expanding

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate value propositions.
• Experience in Marketing / Business Development / Sales.
• Understanding of technology related to product design, branding, manufacturing and innovation.
• Passion for sustainability and driving responsible innovation.
• Experience in a start-up technology environment is beneficial, including conference representation.
• Ability to operate across multiple industrial sectors and adapt quickly.

Are you experienced across Business Development, Commercial Strategy and Product Innovation with the ability to bridge the gap between R&D of physical products and commercial viability? You'll join a Technical Consultancy delivering disruptive innovation with a focus on sustainability.

Key to this Business Development for Product Innovation role are excellent communication skills. You should be confident in your ability to secure new customers with experience of Marketing / Business Development / Sales; will ideally possess an understanding of technology in terms of product design, branding, manufacturing and innovation and will bring a passion for ensuring sustainability.

There are no specific industry background requirements; your particular expertise will be harnessed and used to help companies to achieve their future product development growth. Experience of working within a start-up technology company would be beneficial, where you have represented companies at conferences etc. as would the ability to adapt well between different industrial sectors.

As part of a talented team within Business Development for Product Innovation you will have the opportunity to attend Conferences, sales trips and presentations; will undertake relationship management and commercial strategy; leading and operating innovation projects as well as growing the team and facilities.
