Job summary

That Works in the United Kingdom is looking for a proactive outbound sales specialist to join a founder-led team. The role blends pipeline generation with deal support, turning warm signals into booked calls and helping close deals as you learn the pitch.

You’ll manage LinkedIn outreach, build target lists of DTC brands, and keep the CRM clean. UK hours, remote flexibility, and fast-paced collaboration with the founder are valued in this role.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years in outbound sales or BDR with verifiable meetings booked.
  • Agency, ecommerce or SaaS background strongly preferred.
  • Ability to write in a human, engaging voice.
  • UK-hours availability; remote-friendly but time-zone aligned.
  • Familiarity with CRO concepts or quick learner.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the founder's LinkedIn pipeline: DMs, warm signals, and inbound enquiries, writing in his voice.
  • Build and qualify prospect lists of DTC brands that fit our ICP, and run targeted outbound across LinkedIn, email and phone.
  • Book qualified discovery calls and protect the quality bar (qualified beats volume, every time).
  • Sit in on sales calls, capture notes and actions, and own all follow‑up.
  • Draft proposals, audits and supporting materials for live deals.
  • Keep the CRM accurate and the pipeline visible so the whole leadership team knows what's moving.
  • Spot patterns in what's converting and feed that back into how we pitch.

Job description

This is a hybrid outbound and deal support role working directly with the founder.

Sales here is founder-led, and it works. Our founder runs the calls, closes at a high rate, and that's staying exactly as it is. But demand is growing faster than one person's calendar, and the opportunity now is to build a proper engine around him: more qualified calls going in, and nothing slipping through the cracks after them. That's where you come in.

Roughly 70% of your week is pipeline generation, led by LinkedIn. Our founder posts consistently and his content generates warm signals every week: post engagement, profile views, new followers, inbound DMs. You'll run that inbox in his voice, turn warm signals into conversations and conversations into booked calls, alongside targeted outbound to DTC brands that fit our ICP. You book them, the founder closes them. Over time, as you learn how we sell, you'll start taking smaller deals yourself.

The other 30% is deal support: you sit in on sales calls, take notes, own the follow‑ups, draft proposals and audit prep, keep the CRM clean, and chase prospects so nothing dies in the pipeline. This is also where you get full visibility of how we sell and what closes, direct from the founder. The better you know our pitch, our proof and our pricing, the sharper your outbound gets, and the faster you move into running deals of your own.

What you'll actually do

  • Manage the founder's LinkedIn pipeline: DMs, warm signals from his content, and inbound enquiries, writing in his voice
  • Build and qualify prospect lists of DTC brands that fit our ICP, and run targeted outbound across LinkedIn, email and phone
  • Book qualified discovery calls and protect the quality bar (qualified beats volume, every time)
  • Sit in on sales calls, capture notes and actions, and own all follow‑up
  • Draft proposals, audits and supporting materials for live deals
  • Keep the CRM accurate and the pipeline visible so the whole leadership team knows what's moving
  • Spot patterns in what's converting and feed that back into how we pitch

What we need from you

  • You've managed LinkedIn outreach and DMs on someone else's behalf before (a founder, exec or consultant), and you know the difference between starting a conversation and sending a pitch. This is the core skill of the role.
  • 2-4 years in an outbound sales or BDR role, with proof you've booked meetings consistently. We will ask for numbers.
  • Agency, ecommerce or SaaS background strongly preferred. You should know what CRO is, or be able to learn it fast enough that nobody notices you didn't.
  • Writing that sounds like a human. Most outreach is bad, and a DM that reads like a sequence gets ignored or screenshotted. Yours can't be either.
  • Organised to a fault. The deal support side lives or dies on you never dropping a follow‑up.
  • Live anywhere, but you work UK hours. That's when our clients and prospects are awake, so it's non-negotiable. Dubai-based is a bonus (you'd be near the founder), but not essential.
  • Comfortable being remote and self-managing, but responsive. We move quickly.
  • Ambition to close. This role is a path to running your own deals, and we want someone who wants that.

What this is not

  • It's not a closing role on day one. If you want to be handed warm leads and a quota, this isn't it yet.
  • It's not a marketing role. We have that covered.
  • It's not a job where you can hide behind activity metrics. Booked, qualified calls are what count.
  • Competitive base plus commission on qualified meetings booked and revenue sourced. We'd rather pay well for someone great than average for someone fine. Tell us your expectations.
  • 28 days holiday a year
  • One all-expenses team holiday every year
  • Fully remote, work from anywhere (on UK hours)
