Purpose of the role
In this role, you'll step up from lead generation to managing the full sales cycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities to negotiating and closing deals. As a Business Development Manager, you'll be instrumental in expanding Flusso's presence and driving adoption of our technology in emerging applications and geographies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted market research to identify key customer segments and emerging applications for Flusso's mass flow sensors
- Develop and implement a strategic approach for entering new markets, with a focus on generating leads and building relationships with potential customers
- Use a combination of lead generation techniques—including cold calling, email campaigns, and industry networking—to build a robust pipeline
- Learn to lead technical and product presentations, clearly communicating the value proposition of Flusso's technology to various buyer personas
- Negotiate and close deals under the guidance of senior team members, aiming for mutually beneficial long term partnerships
- Collaborate with marketing, and customer engineering teams to create cohesive strategies and understand customer requirements

Qualifications:
- A high-performing SDR with a proven record in lead generation and outreach, ideally within a technology-focused company
- Strong technical aptitude with a desire to learn and articulate the advantages of complex technology
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients
- Ambition to exceed sales targets and build a career in business development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in generating leads in emerging or niche markets
- Comfortable with a consultative and value-based sales approach
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field is a plus but not essential
