A well-established SaaS business is hiring a Business Development Executive to support its next phase of growth. With a strong product, a loyal client base, and a growing reputation in the market, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional to make a meaningful impact.

The Role

The Business Development Executive will take full ownership of the sales cycle from outbound outreach to close, with support from an established CRM and warm pipeline.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prospecting through cold calling, email, and social channels
  • Running discovery calls and product demos
  • Managing objections, negotiating terms, and closing deals
  • Building long-term client relationships and contributing to account growth
  • Attending client meetings and events across the UK as needed

Who They’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring experience in SaaS or software sales, along with a strong grasp of consultative selling and the discipline to manage their pipeline independently. Specifically, they will have:

  • A proven background in full-cycle SaaS sales, with exposure to enterprise clients
  • Confidence in managing outbound prospecting and driving new business
  • Strong communication skills, with evidence of hitting targets and managing pipeline performance
  • A structured, process-led approach to sales, with training in a formal methodology (e.g. SPIN, MEDDIC, Challenger)
  • The ability to work independently in a remote setting, while staying accountable to goals and metrics
  • A curious and adaptable mindset, especially around learning new tools, technologies, and AI
  • Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings and events (potentially to North America)
