Full time, Fixed Term Contract until 31st December

Salary: £28k/annum (up to £33,600 OTE) + Hybrid company car

Working: Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs/week

Territory: Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Norwich, Cambridge and surrounding areas

We at Advantage Smollan are looking for a passionate and tenacious person to work in our On Trade field sales team representing Greene King brands such as Level Head, Hazy Day, Greene King IPA, and Abbot. You’ll take ownership of your territory, driving sales and distribution of these fantastic brands within tenanted or free on-trade pubs.

Ideally we're looking for candidates with pub related experience, or those with Field Sales experience looking for the next step in their career!

As a Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Work directly with Greene King, employed by Advantage Smollan
  • Build strong relationships with key On Trade contacts
  • Maximise brand awareness and educate on benefits of adding the Greene King draught portfolio to their range
  • Drive product sales and distribution
  • Drive product growth of the Greene King draught portfolio increasing product range on the bar
  • Negotiate product placement and promotional displays, signage, and other marketing material to drive rate of sale
  • Collaborate with your team across the UK and local regional contacts
  • Share best practice
  • Work together to achieve team KPIs in addition to your own individual targets

About you:

  • Pub related experience
  • Tenacious, never give up attitude!
  • A motivated self-starter, ready to develop your skills
  • Strong organisational skills (this will help you plan your diary)
