Job description

Our client is seeking a Business Development Analyst to join their Funds team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role will support the growth of the fund administration business by conducting detailed market research, analysing client and competitor data, and contributing to the development and implementation of business acquisition strategies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, organisational and communication skills, with an interest in the financial services industry.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, target markets and potential client opportunities
  • Analyse market data and internal client information to support strategic decisions
  • Prepare sales and marketing materials to support client meetings and presentations
  • Assist with the development of tailored proposals and pitches for prospective clients
  • Coordinate sales meetings, conferences and networking events
  • Identify prospective clients and support strategies to convert leads into business opportunities
  • Maintain CRM systems to track business development activities and monitor progress
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Development team and ensure efficient record keeping
  • Attend relevant industry events to build relationships and promote services

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or a related field, or relevant experience with a focus on research
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Previous experience in fund administration or financial services is desirable
