New Contract Alert – Business Data Analysts (x3) – Local Gov Transformation ?

I’m supporting a major transformation programme with a local government in Thames Valley that’s hiring three experienced Data Analysts to drive insight-led service redesign and financial modelling across the organisation.

This is an initial 6-month contract (Inside IR35) with a strong possibility of extension, working 2–3 days a week onsite. You’ll be joining a newly formed Transformation Team focused on delivering a smarter, more cost-effective operating model through systems thinking and data-driven decision-making.

? MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:

• Business/Data Analyst experience in a local government or public sector setting
• Handling financial data – including cost-to-serve and flow accounting models
• Turning complex data into clear insights and dashboards (Power BI/Tableau/Excel)
• Using SQL, R or Python for data querying and analysis
• Presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Knowledge of data governance, security policies, and best practices
