Job Description:

Function:

The Business Consultant will work with customers and internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of the UMAX solution, focusing on customer needs from a business and market regulation perspective. The role involves providing guidance on business and market regulations, supporting mediation decisions, and ensuring customer requirements are met.

The position is based in Ghent (Sint-Denijs-Westrem), UK, or EIR, and requires experience in the Irish market, including ROI and NIE, with ERP implementation experience being a plus.

UMAX is a cloud-based software solution for water and energy utilities, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, automating business processes and enhancing customer engagement.

As a Business Consultant with market experience (EIR), you will:

1. Act as the link between Business and IT, analyzing business needs.
2. Manage customer expectations and translate business needs into functional requirements.
3. Attend workshops and meetings onsite with clients.
4. Provide feedback to product development, sales, and marketing teams.
5. Contribute to the evolution of the UMAX solution to go to market.
6. Develop strong relationships with clients, sales, pre-sales, product, and project teams.
7. Participate in project meetings and identify risk areas proactively.
8. Deliver high-quality consulting services to clients.
9. Work with colleagues to upskill and understand industry best practices, especially in the Irish energy market.
10. Continuously develop your knowledge of the utility market in Ireland (ROI & NIE) and transfer this knowledge to colleagues.

What you bring:

1. Strong analytical skills, with a master's degree or equivalent experience.
2. In-depth knowledge of the Irish energy market.
3. At least 5 years of experience as a Business/Functional Consultant in large ERP/CRM projects.
4. Expertise in identifying business requirements and understanding customer processes.
5. Skills in Business Process Management.
6. Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
7. Willingness to travel as needed.
8. A dynamic team player with problem-solving skills.
9. Hands-on approach, proactive, and quality-driven.
10. Customer-oriented and adaptable to fast-changing environments.
