Consulting Lead, Private Equity Value Creation

A privately-owned, London-based logistics business with a global footprint is undergoing a significant digital transformation. As part of their drive to become a fully data-enabled, multi-SaaS organization, they are implementing advanced IoT solutions, industry specific technology systems, and a D365 ERP rollout.

With change maturity still evolving, they are seeking an experienced Interim Business Change Lead to support adoption and rollout of IoT-enabled solutions across the organization.

This hands-on role will focus on driving user adoption, behavioural change, and embedding IoT-enabled solutions into the business. You’ll work closely with the Head of Programmes and other senior stakeholders to engage end users and embed change across business functions such as vessel reporting, freight, and hire.

You’ll need experience working in environments where formal governance is evolving and where resistance to change is common (industries like maritime, oil & gas, energy, utilities, or engineering). Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Lead business change initiatives for IoT solutions across various business areas
• Develop and implement strategies to drive user adoption and engagement
• Design and deliver clear, concise communication plans to support change
• Collaborate with HR to assess and implement organizational design and change impacts
• Identify risks and mitigate resistance to change
• Support efforts to improve the organization’s change maturity score
• Ensure seamless handover and ongoing improvement of change initiatives

What we want:

• Proven experience leading business-centric change in industries such as maritime, energy, utilities, oil & gas, or similar
• Experience driving change in low-maturity environments with resistance to change
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts
• Proactive, pragmatic, and results-focused approach to business change
• Nice to have: ProSci or formal Change Management certification
• Personality fit: Direct and concise communicator with excellent English skills

This is a 6 month Outside IR35 contract, paying up to £650 per day, with three days a week (minimum) in the London office.
