Job summary

A leading London-based investment bank is seeking a business analyst to support a variety of strategic and regulatory change projects. The successful candidate will engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, ensure efficient implementation, and test changes. Candidates should possess 3-4 years of experience in investment banking along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3-4 plus years of business analysis experience in an Investment Bank or consulting.
• Experience with regulatory projects, especially in Transaction Reporting within MiFID.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English.

• Work on the implementation of change projects as part of strategic/regulatory programs.
• Capture and analyse requirements for changes to business processes and systems.
• Develop requirement specifications and partner with IT for implementations.

Location: Leading London based investment bank

You will:

• Work on the implementation of a range of new change projects, as part of larger IB-wide strategic and/or regulatory change programs.
• Work with business, functional stakeholders and subject matter experts to capture and analyse requirements for changes to front to back flows, business processes and systems in response to business or regulatory drivers
• Develop requirement specifications and/or user stories for the changes
• Partner with IT on the implementation of the changes, resolving issues as required
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to ensure the changes are adequately tested
• 3-4 plus years of business analysis experience in an Investment Bank (or consulting within an Investment Bank)
• Experience of delivering regulatory projects (and in particular Transaction Reporting within MiFID) would be an advantage.
• Ability to build relationships across a global organization, build trust and influence internal and external stakeholders
• Strong communication skills (English at a minimum), both written and verbal
