Role:Business and Projects Assistant

For People and Places is a business growth and transformation consultancy. We exist to make places better for all those who use them. We value the trust placed in us, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to society through our work.

Are you passionate about making a difference while developing your organisational and communication skills? We’re recruiting for an individual who shares our values and has relevant work experience as a PA, Project Coordinator or PMO Assistant. We are keen to hear from individuals who have experience of working in a small business, or are returning to work after a career break. Training and regular feedback will be given, plus opportunities for further development within the company if desired.

We are looking for someone who enjoys these things:

·supporting a team to succeed

·getting the detail right and being organised

·engaging with people through email, phone and video calls

·using Microsoft Office 365 products

Responsibilities

·Writing and sharing information effectively and supporting project planning

·Maintaining project documentation and records, tracking tasks and following up

·Capturing key points actions from meetings

·Coordinating schedules and meetings, and supporting the involvement of the right people

·Coordinating evaluations and lessons learned

·Building great working relationships with the team

Working hours and location

32 hours per week, to be worked semi-flexibly. Approximately 80% remote, 20% on site with clients or with the For People and Places team. If you have flexible working requirements that mean you cannot commit to 32 hours per week but would still like to be considered for the role then please get in touch. Due to the location of our clients, applicants should be located in the West Midlands or North West of England, and be able to drive.

Actual salary range

£22,000-£27,000
