About The Role

Join the RAC and help drive our mission to become the motorists’ champion. We’re looking for a talented Business Analyst to join our dynamic Technology Delivery Team, playing a pivotal role in shaping and delivering business solutions that align with our strategy, support our customers, and promote innovation across people, process, and technology.

As a Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for translating business needs into viable, cost-effective, and reusable solution designs. Working closely with stakeholders across technology and business functions, you will play a key role in ensuring we deliver outcomes that support both our strategic vision and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop business requirements and viable solution designs.
• Ensure assets produced align with RAC’s IT architecture and business strategy.
• Represent business needs objectively, challenging decisions where they don’t align with our customer ambition and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles.
• Support strategic planning with feasibility studies and impact analyses.
• Define, analyse and document processes and functional requirements.
• Produce ‘to-be’ business process designs to support readiness, testing, and training.
• Facilitate workshops and lead stakeholder engagement.
• Manage and validate requirements throughout project lifecycles.
• Provide solution options and estimations to support project decisions.
• Ensure smooth transition of new services into production with appropriate support in place.

Skills Required

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Business Analyst role.
• Strong knowledge of requirements definition and management in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Experience in feasibility analysis, solution design, and stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to balance competing priorities and deliver within time, cost, and quality constraints.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time and workload effectively.
• Confidence in running workshops and facilitating discussions.

Desirable

• BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis (or working towards it).
• Experience working in or knowledge of insurance or regulated environments (FCA/TCF).
• Familiarity with end-to-end delivery project lifecycle.
