Job summary

CPL in London seeks an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager with a solid background in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry to support an International Commercial function. You will drive requirements analysis, coordinate delivery across business and technology teams, and engage stakeholders to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within scope.

The role requires strong documentation skills, agile delivery experience, and the ability to manage risks and dependencies

Qualifications

• Experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences sectors.

Business Analyst / Project Manager (Pharma)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager with a strong background in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry to support an International Commercial function.

This role will be instrumental in ensuring key business priorities and operational initiatives are delivered successfully, allowing senior business stakeholders to focus on strategic planning, roadmapping, and business growth objectives.

The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology teams, driving requirements analysis, delivery coordination, stakeholder engagement, and documentation across multiple initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with business stakeholders to understand priorities and challenges
• Support the delivery of operational and technology-focused initiatives across International Commercial teams
• Produce high-quality business documentation including requirements, process flows, and project updates
• Coordinate activities across business and technical teams to ensure successful delivery
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and action trackers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Support planning, prioritisation, and execution of project and business deliverables
• Provide regular status updates and progress reporting to key stakeholders
• Drive initiatives independently while ensuring alignment with organisational objectives

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working within the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences sector
• Strong understanding of commercial pharma processes and operations
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or hybrid BA/PM
• Excellent requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation skills
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities
• Experience supporting technology and business change delivery
