Job summary

Smart is recruiting a Business Analyst to support change and continuous improvement, aligning the operating model with strategic objectives. You will define and document end-to-end processes, contribute to UAT, and drive readiness checklists while engaging with internal and third-party stakeholders.

The role requires agile experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate business needs into detailed requirements and user stories.

Qualifications

• Experience in the DC pensions industry is essential.
• Relevant business analysis certification is required.
• Lean Six Sigma accreditation is desirable.
• Proven experience in business analysis, BPM and requirements definition.
• Ability to create documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in an agile environment is preferred.
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of processes and product to support gap analyses.
• Document change requests with data-driven business cases.
• Build relationships across the organisation.
• Facilitate workshops to capture stakeholder needs and define requirements.
• Create structured documentation for approvals and delivery.
• Translate business requirements into user stories.
• Design flows mapping business processes.
• Produce cost and risk analyses to support benefits.
• Provide Management Information as needed.
• Provide technical input to UAT and plan readiness checklists.
• Sign off readiness with stakeholders and manage evolving risks.
• Communicate issues to stakeholders in business language.
• Resolve complex issues with commercial and business awareness.
• Know third-party capabilities and technologies.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and customer experience.
• Lead change through personal commitment and leadership.
