Location: Bexhill or London - Hybrid - once a week

Our Finance team is building a leading finance technology platform, focusing on value addition and leadership development. Role Overview:

The Business Analyst will be crucial in developing, implementing, and optimizing our Finance Data Mart (FDM), interfacing with various finance systems. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop data models, and generate insights to support strategic decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Engage with finance and business stakeholders to understand their data needs
• Map data flows between source systems (including Guidewire BC/PC/CC, GL systems) and the Azure-based data platform
• Analyze existing financial data models and recommend improvements for the new architecture
• Document business rules and support data cleansing and transformation processes
• Develop functional specifications for data models, APIs, and output tables
• Facilitate workshops to resolve business process challenges and create documentation
• Collaborate on implementation planning, change management, and record Materialised Risk Events in Decision Focus
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to investigate and resolve Risk Events for Finance

Desired Skills:

• Experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on financial systems and data management
• Understanding of financial data concepts, preferably in insurance
• Experience with ERP implementations and system integrations
• Knowledge of data warehousing and cloud platforms
• Familiarity with Azure data services, SQL, data modelling, and visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex information to non-technical audiences
