Business Analyst - CRM and Sales Management

Overview

As our Business Analyst, your curiosity and excellent communication skills—especially in eliciting requirements, understanding interdependencies, and documenting needs clearly—are essential for maintaining and evolving our CRM platform.

Working closely with the Product Owner and Salesforce team, you will:

  1. Lead requirements-gathering sessions
  2. Produce detailed analysis based on your understanding of needs
  3. Translate these into clear acceptance criteria
  4. Review technical solutions for critical unmet needs

You will support a roadmap of recommendations, plan and prioritize work areas, make technical suggestions, and oversee scrum activities to enhance the CRM system. This role offers flexible working arrangements, with occasional travel to the Ipswich or London offices.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Own new enhancement requests, gathering necessary information for prioritization
  • Analyze needs, gather background info, and identify interdependencies
  • Translate business requirements into User Stories with acceptance criteria and specifications
  • Maintain work items in DevOps, ensuring clarity and organization
  • Align with stakeholders, system admins, and architects, including leading product demos
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case creation and execution

About You

  • Experience in business analysis, solution architecture, or product management with proven impact
  • Skilled in requirements elicitation and understanding interdependencies
  • Ability to condense complex requirements into concise acceptance criteria
  • Knowledge of agile delivery and DevOps is beneficial
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams on technical solutions
  • Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and independent working skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Salesforce expertise or experience with similar CRM platforms, including system administration and data management
  • Certifications in Product Management, Business Analysis, Project Management, or Scrum/Agile preferred
  • Background in reinsurance, insurance, or financial services is advantageous
