Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Business Analyst to support a Children's Services transformation programme. The role focuses on process mapping, analysing current workflows, and designing future-state processes and operating models to drive efficiency and improved service delivery.

The successful candidate will engage with stakeholders across the service, facilitate workshops, and support the implementation of service improvements, with a hybrid work arrangement in the public sector setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in process mapping and redesign

• Children's Services or Social Care knowledge beneficial

Business Analyst to support a Children's Services transformation programme, focused on process mapping, service improvement, and operating model implementation. Working with stakeholders across the service, you'll analyse current ways of working, design future-state processes, and drive meaningful change to improve efficiency and service delivery.

Profile

A successful Business Analyst should have:

• Proven process mapping and process redesign experience
• Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops
• Service improvement and operational change expertise
• Knowledge of Lean, Agile, Service Design, or similar methodologies
• Children's Services experience - Social Care or SEND knowledge
• Local Government or Public Sector background
• Experience supporting transformation and change programmes
• Strong experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
• A track record of working on technology-related projects in the public sector.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in creating process maps, reports, and other project documentation.
• Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying solutions.
• Strong Business Analysis background

Job Offer

• Daily rate of 366 - 400, dependent on the level of experience. ( inside IR35)
• 3 month Contract
