Job summary

Bettys & Taylors Group in Harrogate is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Functional Architecture Team on a fixed-term contract until October 2027. Based at Plumpton Park, you will translate business change objectives into clear specifications for both system and non-system areas.

This role ensures traceability through testing, training and process change, and supports estimating initiatives while helping establish Business Architecture Capability and strong partnerships with business SMEs.

Qualifications

• Experience of business analysis for IT enabled change projects.
• Requirements gathering with traceability through testing and training.
• Self-driven with a can-do attitude.
• Strong relationship-building skills and ability to challenge status quo.
• Experience in large-scale organizational change projects.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business SMEs to clarify project problem statements and change objectives.
• Collaborate with project teams to define project scope considering options to meet objectives.
• Lead documentation of functional requirements for allocated change projects in agile settings.
• Provide insight for realistic estimations of timescales and work.
• Support education of BAU teams in requirements articulation for smaller changes.
• Build effective relationships with change leads to redesign processes as needed.
• Maintain as-is business understanding for future impact assessments.
• Support establishment of Business Architecture Capability.
