cer Financial are working alongside a bank who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Business Analyst to work with them on a contract basis inside IR35 on a PAYE basis. The role is for a BA to work on dress rehearsals for testing business processes across the business.

The Responsibilities of a Business Analyst Will Include:

1. Working on dress rehearsals for testing business processes within the Programme during the design and delivery phases of the dress rehearsals.
2. Review ‘to-be’ business process flows documented by each of the impacted departments, identify gaps, and draft a plan to address any gaps identified.
3. Develop end-to-end business process flows for Day 1 for agreed products.
4. Review ‘to-be’ business process flows documented by each of the impacted departments, identify gaps, and draft a plan to address any gaps identified.
5. Review to-be business process flows documented by each of the impacted departments, identify gaps, and draft a plan to address any gaps identified.
6. Update on progress made with respect to key milestones.

The Successful Business Analyst Will Have:

• Experience in designing and documenting business process flows, utilising industry best practices.
• Experience in conducting workshops with senior stakeholders.
• Must be able to work with IT teams in a collaborative manner in preparation for go-live.
• Good knowledge and understanding of front-to-back processes in a typical investment banking trade lifecycle e.g., Front Office, Treasury, Risk, Finance, Operations etc.
• Good knowledge and understanding of investment banking products i.e., Securities including Fixed Income, Equity etc and Derivatives including Futures, Interest Rate Swaps etc.
