Job summary

WSET is seeking a proactive Business Analyst for a 3-month fixed-term contract in London, hybrid work. You will gather requirements, map processes and support governance across a range of business and tech change initiatives. The role blends analysis with project coordination and stakeholder engagement.

You will work with stakeholders across the organisation to drive meaningful change, deliver workshops, and produce clear documentation and dashboards in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Business Analyst (Fixed-Term Contract, 3 Months)

Help shape change at WSET

We're looking for a proactive and adaptable Business Analyst to join our Projects & Transformation team on a three-month fixed-term contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a range of business and technology change initiatives at a time of transformation across WSET. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand business needs, improve processes and help deliver meaningful change.

The role combines business analysis with project coordination and governance support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working across the full change lifecycle and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

Understanding business needs

• Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder discussions to gather requirements.

• Analyse and document business requirements, user stories and process maps.

• Validate and prioritise requirements with stakeholders.

• Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities for improvement.

Supporting process improvement

• Map current and future-state processes.

• Identify inefficiencies, risks and opportunities.

• Contribute to solution design discussions and option evaluations.

Engaging stakeholders

• Build strong relationships across operational, technical and leadership teams.

• Act as a link between business stakeholders and project delivery teams.

• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and confidently.

Supporting project delivery

• Maintain project documentation, governance controls and reporting.

• Assist with project status reporting, dashboards and portfolio tracking.

• Ensure project artefacts are organised and maintained appropriately.

• Provide analytical and administrative support across the transformation portfolio.

Salary

£40,000 (pro-rated for a 3 months' fixed-term contract)

The advertised salary is based on a London location and will vary for candidates based elsewhere.
