VIQU has partnered with a leading independently owned company in Southampton, which is transitioning into a cloud-based ERP system over the next year. They are recruiting for a Systems Analyst.

The ideal candidate must be able to:

• Write SQL scripts and reports confidently
• Use PowerBI for reporting and management information (MI)
• Have a strong understanding of ERP systems

This is an independent company, so the candidate must be comfortable managing multiple tasks and growing with the business.

Responsibilities of the Systems Analyst:

• Utilise data analysis and MI reporting via SQL and PowerBI to support business decision-making
• Assist with implementing and upgrading the new ERP system through relevant analytics
• Independently produce MI reports, analyze trends, and identify business opportunities
• Use modeling and analysis tools to identify business needs
• Map business processes and communicate these to stakeholders
• Gather requirements by collaborating with stakeholders to understand their objectives for new systems

Requirements of the Systems Analyst:

• Proficiency in SQL scripting and PowerBI reporting
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar analysis role
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Strong MI reporting skills and ability to present findings clearly to senior stakeholders
• Experience gathering requirements and mapping complex business processes
