Job summary

eTeam is seeking a Payment Product Business Analyst to drive analysis, design, and delivery of payment solutions within an Agile/SAFe environment. Located in Northampton, you will bridge business and technology teams to ensure payment products meet business, customer, and regulatory requirements.

The role involves gathering and documenting requirements, translating them into Epics and user stories, and managing the backlog while collaborating with Product Managers and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as BA/PO/Technical BA in payments or banking.
• Knowledge of payment platforms and lifecycles.
• Experience with Faster Payments, CHAPS, SWIFT, SEPA, ISO 20022, Open Banking.
• Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum/SAFe environments.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps.

Role Description

• Seeking an experienced **Payment Product BA** to drive the analysis, design, and delivery of payment solutions within an Agile/SAFe environment.
• The role will bridge business and technology teams, ensuring payment products meet business, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements.
• Translate requirements into Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, stakeholders, and delivery teams to define and deliver payment capabilities.
• Support end-to-end payment processes including payment workflows, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, UAT, release planning, and solution demonstrations.
• Ensure compliance with payment regulations, risk, and governance standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and product enhancements.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Technical BA within Payments or Banking.
• Strong knowledge of payment platforms and payment lifecycles.
• Experience with Faster Payments, CHAPS, SWIFT, SEPA, ISO 20022, Open Banking, or similar payment schemes.
• Strong requirements gathering, process modelling, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum/SAFe environments.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
