The London Borough of Waltham Forest (LBWF) is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of key transformation initiatives across the LBWF Housing Services. This role will play a critical part in improving the systems, processes and data that underpin housing repairs, asset management and landlord services, helping to deliver better outcomes for residents and service teams. A significant focus of the role will be supporting the reprocurement and mobilisation of major Housing contracts, including Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) and Repairs & Maintenance (R&M) services. Working closely with LBWF Housing operational teams, Digital and ICT colleagues, and contractor partners, you will ensure business requirements, processes, data and reporting needs are clearly understood and translated into effective solutions. The successful candidate will lead the analysis and improvement of business processes, identify opportunities for service enhancement, and help ensure the Council captures and maintains the data needed to support service delivery, performance management and regulatory reporting. You will work with stakeholders to define reporting requirements for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) and other measures that support effective contract and service management.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housing-sector Business Analyst to contribute to major transformation programmes that will shape the future delivery of housing services across the borough. We are a Home Office-licensed sponsor; however, for this specific role we are not able to provide Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. To be considered, you must already hold a form of UK work authorisation that does not require sponsorship.
As a public authority, we must ensure that members of staff in public-facing roles are able to speak fluent English. This means that they must have a command of spoken English, with confidence and accuracy, sufficient for the effective performance of their role. This requirement does not refer to any particular English language qualifications, regional or international accents, dialects, speech impediments or the tone of conversations. It does not require staff to speak only in English.

The council also operates a scheme whereby, for jobs graded up to and including scale SO2, internal candidates are considered first. This includes those candidates who self-identify as having a disability for the purposes of the Disability Confident scheme. For more information, please refer to our recruitment and selection policy.
We are keen to support employees to balance their working life with other commitments. Therefore, wherever possible, we will consider working arrangements that suit an individual's personal circumstances whilst still meeting the needs of the Council.
