Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Hybrid (Site attendance required 2 days per week in London, Tower Bridge)

Contract: Permanent

Hours/Duration: Full-time, 5 days per week, 9.00am - 5:00pm (some flexibility)

Salary: £50,000

The role of Business Analyst

We are recruiting for our client, an award-winning e-commerce business, seeking a Business Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate must have proven eCommerce-related experience and a passion for building best-in-class websites.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves planning, organizing, and facilitating e-commerce website builds through the full project lifecycle, including:

• Collaborating with Project Managers, Account Managers, and Senior Business Analysts to gather client requirements and advise on best practices
• Working with the scrum team to refine client briefs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Participating in product backlog refinement and sprint demos
• Checking deliverables against business requirements
• Designing solutions to technical problems in cooperation with team members
• Participating in technical workshops and client meetings
• Breaking down complex integrations and prioritizing tasks effectively

About You

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technical environment, with:

• Deep knowledge of eCommerce and digital marketing systems
• Experience with platforms like Magento 2, BigCommerce, Salesforce, Shopware, or Shopify (desirable)
• Understanding of SOAP/REST/GraphQL APIs and experience using tools like Postman
• Proficiency in MS Excel and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent English communication skills
