Job summary

Oliver James Group is seeking a dedicated Business Analyst in Leeds to work closely with stakeholders across the business, mapping processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency. The role is hybrid, with Leeds-based work and one day a week in the office.

You will challenge existing workflows, understand how different areas operate, and translate business needs into practical solutions to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience communicating with stakeholders across the business.
• Experience with testing, UAT, or system implementations would be beneficial.

Business Analyst

Location: Leeds (one day a week in office) | Salary: Up to £65000 (with additional car allowance)

We're looking for a Business Analyst to work closely with stakeholders across the business, identify opportunities to improve processes, solve problems and enhance how teams operate.

This is a business-facing role focused on understanding how different areas operate, challenging existing ways of working and identifying opportunities for improvement. Rather than simply gathering requirements, you'll act as a partner to the business, getting to the root of problems and recommending practical solutions to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges and opportunities.
• Identify inefficiencies, investigate root causes and recommend improvements.
• Challenge existing ways of working and explore how systems and tools can be used more effectively.
