Business Analyst – Leading Law Firm – Devon - £50,000 + package

Leading Law firm now requires an experienced Business Analyst to take the lead the analysis on their projects to take high-level deliverables and feature sets from the business and define, organize, and prioritize them into user stories

You’ll play a key role in driving the success of their IT projects, working closely with business users (particularly the firm's partners), development teams, and stakeholders to gather, document, and refine requirements, ensuring that solutions align with business needs.

The Business Analyst will have the following responsibilities:

• Engage with stakeholders to elicit, document, and refine business and functional requirements.
• Convert high-level business needs into user stories, workflows, and use cases.
• Manage the requirements backlog and collaborate with teams to prioritize and refine stories.
• Work closely with developers, testers, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure that the delivered solutions meet the required business outcomes.
• Facilitate workshops, create mock-ups, and produce clear, structured documentation.

The ideal Business Analyst will have the following skills/experience:

• Excellent Business Analyst experience
• Ideally experience within the legal or professional services sector
• Experience with case management tools / systems a plus
• Experience within both Waterfall and Agile environments
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience

This is a permanent role offering a basic salary between £45k - £50k plus benefits.

This is a hybrid working role, requiring you to be onsite in the law firm's Devon HQ 1/2 days per week.
