Job summary

The NHS Trust is seeking a Business Analyst on a 6-month initial contract to support the Innovation Hub in discovering, assessing, designing and delivering technologies for pilots within the Trust.

The role involves structured analysis across the application development lifecycle: defining needs, evaluating opportunities, managing requirements, and aligning solutions with operational benefits and the NHS Trust Digital Strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience analysing business problems and eliciting requirements.
• Knowledge of information governance, data protection, cyber security is desirable.
• Stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

• Discovery brief, problem statement and agreed scope.
• Stakeholder map and engagement plan.
• Prioritised requirements catalogue or specification, traceable to business objectives.
• Current and future process maps with supporting analysis.
• Options appraisal, feasibility assessment or recommendation.
• Due diligence and assurance tracker covering evidence, risks, actions and approvals.
• Data-flow documentation and information requirements.
• Business impact assessment, benefits and measurable success criteria.
• User stories, use cases, acceptance criteria and support for testing, where applicable.
• Decision, risk, issue, action and dependency logs, with progress and executive updates.
• Handover materials and lessons learned for each initiative.
