Job summary

Solirius Reply is seeking a motivated Business Analyst to join our delivery teams in Greater London. You will collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories, while maintaining rigorous acceptance criteria.

You will work in an Agile environment, communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels and ensuring solutions stay aligned with goals and user needs.

Qualifications

• Experience capturing user needs and requirements via workshops or structured interviews.
• Ability to present business or process in a structured way (BP Modelling, Use Case, or User Story).
• Ability to structure analysis of a business or product (SWOT or MOST).
• Experience with Agile Delivery across the whole lifecycle of technical projects/service development.
• Experience writing Functional and Non-Functional Requirements.
• Experience in Agile SCRUM and delivering software in Agile teams.
• Interest in technology and its practical application.
• Strong communication skills with managers and stakeholders at all levels.
• Pragmatic approach to projects interpreting clients' needs.

Responsibilities

About You

You are a motivated and adaptable professional with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for using technology to solve real-world problems. You enjoy working in collaborative, agile teams and take pride in delivering high-quality solutions that make a tangible impact. With strong communication skills and a consultative approach, you're comfortable engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and translating them into effective outcomes.

The Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst with proven industry experience in digital product delivery. You will need to be a great listener and communicator with a creative, structured and logical approach to problem solving. You have some experience of working with a variety of stakeholders and experience of digital delivery.

Requirements

• Working with the client business and your business and product management colleagues to understand the business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Constructively challenging the requirements to ensure that they are fit for purpose and remain inline with the corporate and project goals
• Operating in an Agile delivery team and performing the normal BA duties
• Writing good quality user stories and acceptance criteria so that a developer can work effectively
• Acting as a first point of contact for the delivery team to clarify requirements. Developing effective ways of working with the engineering, development and QA teams
• Facilitating communication with stakeholders to play back potential solutions and designs, technical feedback, user experience findings or delivery options

Key Skills & Experience

• Experience of capturing user needs and requirements in a number of ways e.g. workshops, structured interviews
• Experience of understanding a business or a process and presenting it in a structured way e.g. Business Process Modelling, Use Case modelling and/or User Story development
• Ability to structure the analysis of a business or product e.g. SWOT or MOST analysis
• Some experience of Agile Delivery across the whole lifecycle of technical projects/service development
• Experience of writing requirements (Functional and Non-Functional)
• Some experience in Agile scrum methodologies and delivering software in Agile teams
• An interest in technology and an understanding of its practical application
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken word with an ability to successfully engage with managers and stakeholders at all levels within a business
• A pragmatic approach to projects and requirements who can interpret and elaborate on clients' needs
• Some appreciation of the dynamics of a technology development team
