Job summary

Capgemini in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a background in Investment Banking or Capital Markets, focusing on data governance, master data management, and stakeholder engagement to drive enterprise data initiatives. About the Job you are considering

An experienced Business Analyst with a strong Investment Banking or Capital Markets background, combining expertise in data governance, master data management, stakeholder engagement, and business analysis. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience driving enterprise data initiatives, defining data requirements and mappings, and supporting strategic transformation programs across global financial services organizations.

Hybrid working

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role
  • Strong understanding of master data and hierarchy modelling including legal entity structures client hierarchies ownership relationships business rules and data governance principles
  • Proven ability to lead requirements workshops challenge assumptions resolve ambiguities and drive stakeholder agreement across business and technology teams
Your Skills
  • Experience delivering data focused change initiatives within Capital Markets or Investment Banking particularly involving client data reference data CRM platforms or enterprise data management
  • Expertise in data mapping migration lineage and reconciliation including defining source to target mappings and validating implementation outcomes
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into clear functional and data requirements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills capable of explaining complex data concepts and securing alignment from senior business and technology stakeholders
Desirable Skills
  • Experience working on client onboarding KYC regulatory reference data or master data management programmes within Investment Banking
  • Technical familiarity with SQL and querying large complex datasets to generate insights for problem solving
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and working alongside architecture and engineering teams
