Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Secure Transformation Services team in the UK, including London, Birmingham and Bristol. You will bridge business and technical teams, document requirements, and shape product solutions in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

You will collaborate with designers, researchers, developers and QA to elaborate epics, user stories and acceptance criteria, while driving continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in requirements engineering and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proven ability to apply BA techniques such as BPMN, context diagrams, Use Cases, SWOT and MoSCoW.
• Experience in agile environments and prioritisation methods (RoM, MoSCoW, etc.).
• Strong communication and liaison with stakeholders across business and technical teams.
• Awareness of AI advancements and how to apply them to client projects.

Responsibilities

• Bridge business stakeholders to understand change needs and document requirements.
• Elaborate epics and user stories for developers from high‑level concepts.
• Facilitate workshops with design researchers and service designers.
• Maintain agile boards and support delivery management activities.
• Define acceptance criteria and assist with UAT with stakeholders.

Requirements

Youwill playan important rolein bridging the gap between all business stakeholders, both internal and external, including Sales, Project Management, Technical Architecture, Development, QA Testing, and service support colleagues. You will take ownership to understand the change needs of our clients, investigate business problems and opportunities, and facilitatethe delivery ofappropriate changesthrough the application of business analysis techniques and documentation. For this role you are:

• Elaborate epics and user stories from high level concepts to ‘playable’ units of work for the Developers.
• Craft and translate business needs into traceable requirements and show evidence how the solutions meet the required needs with measurable valueand business priority.
• Comfortable working with the team reshaping user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
• Elaborate epics and user stories from high level concepts to ‘playable’ units of work for the Developers.
• Work closely with the Design and Research team, notably User Researchers and Service Designers, and integrate and enable user research as part of elaboration and continuous improvement
• Assistthe / Delivery Manager / Scrum Master with maintenance of physical and digital Agile boards
• Can articulate the definition of ready/done, user story kick-off and sign-offand requirements for UAT
• Work with other Business Analysts, Product Managers, Delivery Managers, Technical Leads and QA and external stakeholders on site
• An advocate for best practice and promote business analysis across Secure Transformation Services

Experience

• Previousbusiness analysis experience
• Knowledge and application of the Requirements Engineering Process and experience in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience of applying a variety of BA techniques appropriate to the business situation such as Business Process Modelling (using BPMN), Context Diagrams, Use Cases, SWOT analysis, MOSTanalysisand Business Activity Models to support the investigation and analysis of business situations.
• Experience of working in an agile context.
• Experience in a range of prioritisation techniques (RoM, t-shirt sizing,MoSCoWetc).
• Understanding of user centric design experience with non-functional aspects such as security, privacy, accessibility,performanceand reliability.
