Job summary

Metroline is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our engineering team. The role involves supporting the garage’s day-to-day work, carrying out repairs to a high standard, and using diagnostic equipment to keep the PCV fleet on the road.

You will interact with drivers and operations staff and record fault details in the Fleet Management System. We require a full PCV licence, NVQ2 or equivalent, and experience in the London Transport environment.

Qualifications

• Technically adept with PCV knowledge and mechanical skills.
• Sound knowledge of PCV requirements.
• Experience in the London Transport environment.
• Hold a full PCV licence.
• NVQ2 qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Protect the Company Operator Licence at all times.
• Complete repairs to a high standard.
• Enter details of vehicle faults into the Fleet Management System.
• Basic use of diagnostic equipment.
• Develop good relationships with drivers and managers; work as part of a team.
