Job summary

Realise is seeking experienced bus drivers to mentor the next generation, in a hybrid role based at a depot with home working days. This Monday–Friday position (approx.

08:00–16:00 or 09:00–17:00) guides apprentices from enrolment to end point assessment, delivering training across classroom, online and on-bus settings, while you stay off the wheel yet make a real impact. Desirable candidates hold CPC and PCV licences, have training/mentoring experience, and are ICT literate; DBS checks apply,

Qualifications

• Significant bus driving experience and strong understanding of safe driving practices
• Experience training, mentoring, or coaching others
• Hold a CPC and PCV licence
• ICT literate and able to use learning platforms

Responsibilities

• Deliver induction sessions and mentor apprentices from enrolment to end point assessment
• Plan and deliver classroom, workshop, online, and practical training
• Provide on-bus mentoring and model safe driving behaviours
• Manage caseloads and track learner progress
• Liaise with employers and maintain learner records
