Job summary

Cumberland Council is hiring Public Transport Bus Drivers to connect communities across the county, delivering a safe, reliable service and excellent customer care. Cumberland Council is looking for a friendly and professional Public Transport Bus Drivers to help connect communities across the county. In this important role, you’ll provide a safe, reliable and inclusive transport service, helping residents access employment, education, healthcare and local services. You’ll operate bus services to agreed routes and timetables, carry out vehicle safety checks, assist passengers including elderly and vulnerable customers, operate ticketing systems, and deliver excellent customer service while ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.

A variety of full-time fixed term and zero hour contracts are available.
