Job summary

Stagecoach Sunderland is offering a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship at the Sunderland depot. Earn while you learn with fully paid training to gain your PCV licence, progressing to a higher hourly rate after the first year.

You will join a welcoming team, with opportunities for career development within the UK. Starting at £13.41 per hour during training (6–8 weeks), rising to £16.74 per hour after completion and potential annual earnings of £26,840 during training, then £32,207 after the first

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Right to work in the UK (183 days in the UK as part of DVLA requirement).
• Hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate Stagecoach fleet safely and confidently.
• Deliver excellent customer service to all customers.
• Complete training and obtain PCV licence through Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship.
• Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
